Position Summary and Functions:
Position available immediately with a leading automotive financial services client in Plano, TX for a Senior Network Design Engineer who can handle level 3 support.
We are looking for a resource to design and implement complex networking solutions and provide level 3 advanced technical support.

Requirements and Qualifications:
8+ years in overall network systems design engineering, support and implementation.
Experience building large enterprise networking projects.
Solid expert level protocol knowledge and TCP/IP protocol suite knowledge including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, DHCP and HSRP.
MPLS, Ethernet, Ethernet Access, layer 2 switching, wireless and network security.
Switches and Routers: Nexus 7K/5K/2K series datacenter and 4510 series campus switches, ASR and ISR routers.
Hardware Vendors: Cisco, Netscout.
Telecommunications Carriers: Verizon, AT&T or equivalent.
Experience with Microsoft Office software, Windows Active Directory, Cisco IOS, NXOS, TCP/IP suite of applications and familiarity with NMS software (i.e. CoolAlerts, NetBrain, HPOV and other SNMP based applications).
